Superglue will work for cosmetic fixes of carbon fiber or CF structures that don't receive a lot of stress, but it won't hold up to repeated flexing or a hard bump. You would want to actually tie together or wrap the two pieces with a layer of fiberglass cloth or carbon fiber cloth and saturate the cloth with epoxy resin (not epoxy glue). For all that trouble, it's probably easier to see how long it lasts while a new cage is on order .
