Or you can just buy a new CF cage on eBay.

Let's see the alternative - buy some epoxy, some cf strip, sandpaper, paint, etc. Then spend an hour prep, put the epoxy on, let dry overnight, sand and touch up with paint. You spend three hours, not counting time to drive and get the materials, and have a crappy looking cage. This only cost $20 in supplies and materials.
