Bikes: '96 Litespeed Catalyst, '05 Litespeed Firenze, '06 Litespeed Tuscany, '20 Surly Midnight Special, All are 3x10. It is hilly around here!

If it's intended to be a large chainring of a double or triple, it should have a "chain catcher" post that is installed facing out and right behind the crank arm.
