It's looking pretty darn good after a little elbow grease. Sounds like you came up with your own home-made remedy for the old lacquer and it worked out well. The group also looks good. I'd love to see some close-up shots of the tubing to see the shape of them.

Decals are available on e-bay for that bike, as is the old Benotto bar tape.
