I don't know what the worst wind is I ever fought but today was pretty rough. The wind was a steady 24 mph with gusts beyond that. I know because I got it directly behind on the East bound leg and pedalled until I got a windless condition. The computer said 24 mph. That's a pretty stiff breeze. On the West bound leg I had to pedal down a 12 degree hill to keep from slowing down. I couldn't even coast in the drops on something that steep without pedalling my way down. North and South were tough when the gusts wanted to push the bike over sideways. East was fun with 31 mph. flats. West was tough with 13 mph. flats. I did a 15 mile trip that felt like 50 miles. I enjoyed it, though. Good workout.
