It must be an epidemic. I just gave my neighbor a bike so he can stop making excuses about not riding 3/4 mile to his job every day. The guy drives a damned pickup truck LITERALLY AROUND THE BLOCK! He seems psyched to do it, and I've even offered to accompany him, as I pass right by his place of business on my commute every morning. He tells me he's going to start this week, so let's see if he follows through.
