You will make contact; but if the motorists would also make contact to you aka cyclist/s. That would help so much better.
But most motorists won't do such contact.
If the motorist did contact that 1 time; it may have been a luck-out that one time.
(a) coincidence of looking at the cyclist,
|(b)and/or motorist's attitude on that time.
