Bikes: the bikes own me

Its actually one of my favorite bikes. It rides very smooth and stable. The long stays and ample curve to the fork soak up the bumps. Its great descending hills not so much climbing them. I really love the old school Suntour drivetrain. It shifts quicker and smoother than I expected it to. The only downside is the brakes are not modern and feel like it even with new pads. The Nishiki is also a conversation starter especially with anyone that's ever owned one. I've met quite a few people that remember an early Nishiki from their youth fondly.
