Bikes: my bikes: Old: 1965 Schwinn 10 speed, 72 Monshee 12 speed, 77 Norco 12 speed, 95 Trek 850, two Specialized Crosstrails, 2016 Specialized carbon Sirrus. New 2020 Trek FX1

For what it's worth, I have the same bike, the 2013 Crosstrail Sport Disc, you will truly enjoy your new ride, and...
...you will get accustomed to the new seat, trust me on that. I had the stock seat for about three weeks and it was literally a pain in the behind. I had it swapped for the
Sonoma Gel as well, I got the wider version of the Sonoma, and it made a big difference. based on my personal experience over the years, you will need to get used to riding
on any bicycle seat, but some are definitely more comfy than others. I have a heavier, stockier body, not overweight, just bigger built, and the wider seat made a big
difference in the overall level of comfort. But every year after the winter break - I live in Canada so don't ride much from Nov to Jan. - I have to re-acquaint my hind most parts
to a bicycle seat again, it usually takes a few weeks and then you don't even notice it.

Enjoy your new bike, great choice in my humble opinion, though I may be a bit biased...
