Wow, so many replies, thanks fellas! I might mosy on over to my local guy to borrow his tool / have him do the slicing. I think I'll buy some brake pads while I'm there *cough* *cough*. I'm going from old brifters to new brifters so I think the cable / housing lengths should be about the same length as the old stuff. I'll think about it.
