My old school Huffy Techtra Lite road bike has no cable bosses, no mounts, and no places for a water bottle cage. I was stripping down an old Huffy Superia and I saved the water bottle holder which basically clips on to the frame. I had to wrap the post with some electrical tape so it was secure, but it works for me. Maybe you can find something like that?...........
