Yes, just like our state's seat belt, cell phone, DUI, etc campaigns...... Our area is now having a pedestrian crosswalk safety campaign, with large banners put up at numerous locations, though it seems that it is having the opposite effect, with the number of pedestrian deaths and severe injures increasing.
