I'm kind of the opposite of you, if I don't wear anything else besides standard clothing I can't seem to ride the bike and I feel unbalanced.

A plain white cycling jersey actually sounds pretty good, I'm so used to wearing bright shirts and darker colored pants/shorts. I may just eventually go into the full blown cycling outfit in the future, but at this point in time I need to work off my beer belly that I got from being so inactive over the years.
