Back in the 70's I used Armor All on all of my bike tires. I lived in the southwest and between low humidity, high temperature and UV exposure from the sunlight it was hard on tires.

The Armor All compound was probably made with a polyvinyl acrylic base like used in "latex" water based paint with UV resistant additives. No idea of what's in it or how well it works today.

These Wolber 700c clinchers date back to 1975 an 1976. I applied Armour All to them 3-4 times over the years. They have between 5,000 and 7,000 miles on them are still rideable.
