Greetings all,

I recently picked up a 27" vintage wheelset, noticed that the hooks that would grab the tire beads were a bit more subtle than I'm used to and was wondering if I need to be concerned about tire selection. The rims seem to be quite nice...aero profile, double wall...but somewhat surprised that they'd be aero given that I am assuming they are from the 80's and most of the 27" wheels I've seen were more of the box type construction.

Excuse the somewhat blurry pics. Do these appear to be non-hooked rims and if so, should I be looking for a certain style/size of tire?
