Ummm...natural rubber comes from trees, wood is a renewable resource and not obsolete as a heating fuel in warmer climates (like where both of us live), and coal will continue to be a primary source of power plant fuel outside the First World regardless of the ecological cost because other countries place higher priorities on other things.
