As far as fit.. there is quite a bit of adjustment you can do with different seat positions, and stem lengths, angles, and etc. So, if you are close, you should be able to get it dialed in like you want it.
Perhaps drop at the stem will be an issue, but you're only off by 5mm. Do you have any spacers under your current stem? Angled up or down?

The appeal i guess, is its different. There are next to zero ridleys around here where i live, simply because dealers dont have them. Spesh, cdale,trek etc sure, but not ridley.
I have 20mm under the stem. The stem itself as a 6 degree rise.
Its hard to test ride something like this since there are none around, but i thought it would be a fun first build
