If you're talking about the 7s version with Synchro shifters, I'd say this is perhaps my favorite gruppo.
If you will be wanting lower gearing, something like 13-25t is available from Sunrace, and which will index fine if you use 9s chain.
Do keep the inside of the synchro shift levers well-lubricated.
