Well, I don't presume to speak for Fender1, but I agree.

Nor do I speak for the OP, but if I'm reading him right, he seems to want a 1950's bike, and is not happy with the one he has, which has been updated into a 1970's bike (more or less). To make this bike into the one he wants, he'd have to do some re-restoration, some un-modernizing, and so on. In my opinion, based on the little I can see, he condition of the paint, and perhaps components as well, is just too good for what he wants. He wants one that is either in original condition, or in sufficiently degraded condition that it makes sense to refinish it.
