My first ride was quite eye-opening. Just the difference in roadie wheels, STI shifting and a stiffer bottom bracket area made a huge difference in acceleration. This evening we had a tornado warning, which gave me an hour in the basement to the little things. Dialed in FD and learned about the "trim" feature on the front shifter, replaced a frayed cable, and--I think--fixed the rattle on the right shifter nameplate by tightening a small screw and adding a touch of shoe-goo. I'm very sad it's not going on vacation next week with me.
