If you want a SISL2 I suggest you look for one on Ebay. New take offs regularly sell on Ebay in the $400 range. Still expensive but way below what you would pay to a authorized Cannondale dealer. I paid ~ $400 for a brand new SISL2 take off back in December. I didn't need the chain rings the crank came with (I used the crank for a 1 x 11 set up on my CX bike) and sold them on Ebay so my net out of pocket was a little over $300.
Good idea. I haven't looked into the cranks that closely yet, are the SISL2 alloy or carbon? Isn't there a carbon version that's supposed to be the lightest and stiffest (and probably most expensive)?
