What to do with a cool vintage bike that doesn't fit me?

I have a 1983 or '84 steel frame Moots Mountaineer that is too big for me. It was a gift from the original owner, my dad. He replaced some of the cooler parts of the years, so I'm afraid it isn't worth much. Do I keep it for sentimentality even though I can't really use it? Or do I sell it for a disappointingly low price for such a cool piece of bike history? Or do I search out the replacement parts and refurb it myself before selling it? Note: I just learned how to change a flat tire, so a refurb would be totally new for me!
