I could stop by another shop that sells Dahon, and happens to sell the D3.

Moral of the story:
  1. The D3 has a 120mm OLD
  2. The XL was sold with a Nexus 8, which apparently has the same OLD as the Alfine 11… but is no longer sold by Dahon.
