Flying into Geneva on August 8th with my bike in hand, will probably have access to a car, any suggestions for resources on planning out this trip?

I will be mostly unsupported, but I have family in a few parts (Lausanne, Crans Montana, Bern, Zurich) as well as Nice that I will be seeing for the most part at a wedding (actually 2) a few weeks later in Poland.

I have backpacked in Europe / Costa Rica but never with a bike.
