Where do you commute in Raleigh? I commute from Morrisville to the Cary/Raleigh border (on 54/Chapel Hill Rd), which is about a 6-7 mile ride. It was a lot colder this morning than the rest of the week and my feet got cold as well. Should be a very nice ride home this evening.
Yesterday on my ride in I was riding along a road which has a center turning lane in a 45mph zone. I was approaching my turn to the left so I checked behind me to make sure I could cross the lane to the center turning lane. There was a car a few hundred feet back so I signaled and moved into the center lane. As I was crossing the lane the lady in the car a few hundred feet back beeps at me. I even signaled and had plenty of room to cross the lane. She proceeded to pass me before I turned and she looked at me like she was pissed and I had done something wrong. I turned and went on my merry way, damn cagers.
