A bit chilly in far West Kentucky, near freezing. I altered the loop I ride to work (1 mi direct, 10-15 mi with loop) after seeing several folks scraping frost off car windshields to one with less, and slower traffic. Adding vision restricted to a tiny, frosted over, scraped "hole" in the windscreen to the folks driving with a cell phone in one hand, coffee in the other (surely they're not steering with their knees, then again, maybe I'd best hope they are steering with something :-( ) and prudence becomes the better part of valor

Gorgeous day, most colored leaves down, though. Beautiful sunrise. Some rain forecast for AM Sunday but a pretty week next week. Too dry, though. We're going to have major wildfire problems without significant rainfall.
