Exactly why I no longer use the Tuffy either, but the FlatAway works great in comparison, I have yet to get a flat in a tire with a FlatAway liner in it since I started using them about 5 years ago. These liners are rather expensive so to cut cost I only put them in rear tires because the rear is where most flats occur and it takes the most amount of time to fix. These liners are light too, I think I recall they're 24 to 26 grams.
