You will find a few conflicting opinions but I think the vast majority of people would tell you to buy the bike with disc brakes. Unless there is some radical new breakthrough on the horizon, I cannot see myself buying a bike without disc brakes.

Would love to find out from someone knowledgeable whether or not there are any significant model-year differences between these two bikes? Maybe the derailleur set is significantly better on one vs the other, or maybe frame geometry changed noticeably, or whatever.
Also, wondering if the disc brakes are a major improvement.
These two bikes are for sale for the same price, so no difference there.
