I own 4 motobecanes from the 1976 to 1978 era. I think yours is a 1977 because I believe that the 701 means January 1977. i have a 1977 Motobecane Nomade 3929671 - 706. I believe it was manufactured in June 1977. I was replying to the Grand Record on page 1, for some reason this ended up here at the end of the thread.
