I actually spend some time with paper and pencil last night running numbers on what you get from Bikes Direct in an Ultegra Group, or a Dura Ace Group Ti, or Carbon Road Bike. Even if you are a total klutz, who hates wenching. Factor in $50.00 for minor adjustments.

If you can look past the decals, want a bike to ride, and not impress some Yuppie friends I see value in what they offer.
