same thing for rain, though you want to make sure the toe warmers are water proof/resistant too, rather than just wind resistant. The wool socks will keep your feet warm, even when wet. I wear thin smartwools all summer, thicker smartwool crews this time of year. If you have clipless shoes, some Saran Wrap under the liner really helps to keep the wet and cold from coming up from the cleats.
