LOL... Yeah, I know. That college kid from the Craigslist ad had the Kenda K161 'cross tires put on by his LBS so he could ride all around on cobblestone streets and whatnot downtown around the campus. They do the job that's for sure! At (max) 70 psi, they provide a real cushy, real smooth handling, ride. But the knobs slow you down a bit when trying to get a good cadence going out on the roads.

When I do swap out the tires, I want to keep the same gumwall tire look. I really like the Panaracer Paselas and even the cheaper Kenda K35. I want to keep the bike as classic and "old school" looking as I can.
