I have three Pletscher/ESGE double kickstands, three Mwave and two Public Bike double kickstands currently on bikes, the only concern is that not all attach the same way, the Pletscher plate doesn't have an adapter for shifter cables routed right under the bottom bracket and the Mwave models hang very low to avoid the chain, and on low bottom bracket bikes like my touring Rodriguez, that would pretty darn close to the ground when cornering, if I put it on that bike (the actual kickstand on that bike for me is a Pletscher).
The ESGE and Public models fold up to one side and two of my Mwaves do as well, while the third Mwave doesn't fold at all and the fork of the two legs just goes up one on each side of the rear wheel.... this is the one that hangs really low.
The Pletschers are indeed expensive but side by side they also really feel high quality.
Be aware that the stands do not come with rubber feet and they come uncut, much too long for almost any bike, so you will need a hacksaw and you will need to order rubber shoes if you want to have those, and the only source on Amazon is Niagra and they charge almost as much shipping for those feet as the item costs.
