I worked in a bike shop over 25 years ago and probably gave similar bad advice, being the poorly trained and poorly paid worker that I was. I don't think that's changed. But what I wonder is why these youngsters carry any authority, i.e., why would those riders you encountered, [MENTION=73614]rhm[/MENTION], believe those shop employees in the first place?
