That is a bit of a hike, but your $20K bike should weigh about 10 lbs.
I don't have a lot of tall buildings around here, but I'll do stairs 10 or 20 floors when I find them (fairly light).
47 floors is quite a few. But, you could at least take the stairs the first 10 flights, then hop onto the elevator... and in a few weeks, perhaps start doing the whole 47. It would be good exercise.
Many large buildings also have utility access.
