Sadly the local loop I ride often was hit with a huge brush fire yesterday. I had planned on riding, but the entire area was shutdown.

Anyone have an idea on how long I should wait before riding that route again. I can still smell the burnt area from home about a mile or so away so I figured a week or so, but since the area burned is right up against the road I ride I'm not sure if there is a risk of breathing in dust, char, or anything else as I pass through.
