There’s all kind of cyclists out there. I’m a ride from my front door kind of guy, even on multi-day tours. Rarely do I attach bicycles to my car. I always feel badly for cyclists who feel the need to drive a few miles through suburbia to use a bike path.
Yeah, that's why I like trails like the Beltline here in Atlanta. Most of the road crossings are over bridges. No stopping necessary. I'm a from my front door guy too. And my vacations are usually bike tours that start like that. It's a nice feeling to be able to roam planet earth and have simple needs like food and water and chain lube
