I bought my wheels during Boyd's black Friday sale (buy 44mm clinchers and get Altamonte free). Emailed him a bunch prior to buying and he was fast to respond with detailed responses. I used the Altamonts during the winter months and switched to the 44mm in March when it started getting warmer. These wheels are just awesome.

How would you compare how the Altamonts ride compared to the 44mm carbon clinchers? I really struggled with my decision to go with the Altamonts or carbon wheels. Would you say the Altamonts roll fast? How are they when they get up to speed? Or, are the carbon wheels that much more superior? if so, how so?
