I've had my Emonda SL for almost a year. I bought the SL5, knowing that I'd upgrade and move the 105 to another bike, and moved to Di2. I had the chain drop twice on the 105, and now twice on the Di2. The chain catcher is in tightly against the chain, but it doesn't seem to help.

The first 3 drops just scuffed up the paint, but this fourth time was in there so tightly that it pulled all of the paint off down to black. I feel nothing fiberous, as it actually feels like a shell.

Are you back in business, and how did Trek deal with your bike?
