I'm thinking of changing out the stock riser stem on my Dahon Speed P8 (I got a nice deal from @BruceMetras). When I ride it, since I'm a bit aggressive, I can feel it flex a bit. It's my only gripe about my new ride. Well,...this and the horrible weird latch when it's folded (it doesn't work).

Here's a video of a different bike being modded, but I'm guessing it's a pretty much identical job.


I also do understand the handlebar will fold to the OUTSIDE instead of the INSIDE after the mod. Anyone having done this please give me some input!!!
