[rant]You know what I HATE with a passion? You have some friends that encourage you to do the local group ride, even though you know you're so out of shape that it's a REALLY bad idea. So, you take off, and the whole first half of the ride is up hill. This is a no-drop ride, so there are regular re-group spots. However, the ENTIRE group ends up waiting for you at every stop, because you're the last slow poke to show up. Then, as you approach, everyone starts clipping in. I get it, they've had a good rest and I'm the one slowing them down, but com'on! Those who didn't really need a rest get a LONG rest, and the guy who's about to DIE gets nothing but encouraging words like "keep going", "good job", "you're almost there" and my favorite - "is your face always that pale?"
Thanks. [/rant]
I am so with you. Thankfully it has not happened to me much lately. I expect on Cool Breeze to be riding solo
