I am going to take it for a ride tonight! This would be my first road bike, so if the fit is not quite right in the early going I might be too inexperienced to know it. But thanks for your input, I do believe it's in the right ballpark and I'll see how it feels. FYI according to the '84 catalog the only sizes for this bike is either 55 or 58.
