I don't think there is much dispute that 5.8 watt/kg, for under an hour, early in the race, from one of the very top riders in the world, is reasonably possible without doping. That is what Froome's power meter data shows.

Not sure where the French TV show came up with 7 watt/kg; that seems like B.S.
