As far as locknut I assume you mean the one under the dustcap that locks the cone on the spindle? It's going to be metric and you'll want a thin "jam nut" probably. Unless you have a really good hardware store you might do better with a LBS or bike co-op with a big drawer of toast pedals to scavenge.

tip - if that is your actual crank and pedal in the photo, mind how you go. 93 arm is early type as launched 1967 and is prone to radial cracking at the pedal hole.
