Mineral oil freezes at -30(used in all Shimano hydraulic disc brakes) and DOT fluid freezes as -75. Reason you don't see automotive brakes freezing in extreme temps. Also it think it's also a big reason why alot of fat bikes run mechanical disc brakes. Yes you could run Avids but why? Lol.
