What chain tensioner are you using? (Again with the weird negative reaction to a legit question guys?)
Cyclocross and mtb bikes are usually set up ss because pedal position is very important in those disciplines but there have been plenty of examples of fixed versions of either come through here. Surly cross check maybe?
