re: Vittoria SCs You asked for my thoughts. At the moment they are aging in the basement. My immediate thought was the sidewall was more yellow than natural/tan. Fitting them on some rims, the area around the valve does not seat as nicely as some others. They did air up nice and straight and once aired up seated a bit better at the stem. Probably at least another month before they get ridden.
I went with the Servizio Corsa for starters. I was impressed by the ease of mounting. I was expecting every manner of contorting, pulling and maybe even the need of taking up cussing again. No so at all. The guys at Yellow Jersey coached me over the phone and were helpful at the time of ordering. I'm impressed and relieved.
