What does post count have to do with knowledge? You and Frank both joined this year. The last three posts you attack the guy and then call him a troll. LOL.
$400 for quality lightweight wheels? used? $400 only buys you good, light hubs.
I've owned numerous Mercedes and Lexus vehicles. I drive them to the ground. The Benz is more durable. My experience contradicts your nonsense. Have you ever spent a few hours behind the wheel of a Benz doing 250Km/hr? The Lexus is built for small people to take trips to the mall. No headroom, no legroom and they handle poorly.
Lexus is not as reliable as they used to be, but all evidence suggests that lexus has a superior track record of reliability vs. bmw and mercedes.
I do not consider anecdotal evidence to be in any way shape or form admissible as GENERAL EVIDENCE of overall reliability of a brand or particular make/model.
Your generalizations about lexus, likewise, are flat out silly. They are not made for "small people." Let's see you post headroom and overall cabin dimensions for the LS400 for example vs. say an E class. Where's your data?
Your claim that the lexus is made for "trips to the mall" is just flat out goofy.
As far as the lexus not handling well, do you realize that lexus offers more than one model? Apparently not. Generally speaking, the lexus as well as toyota brands lean towards comfort and minimizing NVH. However, they do make some sports oriented models.
Are you going to criticize chocolate cakes for being sweet? How about sauerkraut for being too sour?
Lexus obviously caters to a specific market which favors a quiet smooth ride with the highest level of reliability.
Your next post will criticize lambo for not having enough cup holders. SMH.
