Lightweight touring with Specialized Allez Sport road bike
Greetings all,
As my first official post I'd like to ask a question. What sort of touring racks are available that fit a 2005 Specialized Allez Sport road bike's rear frame? There are some hex/allen screw attachment points on the rear fork/frame (but no holes in said frame), so I assume that something can be added there.
A friend and I want to do some lightweight touring (less than 300 miles) and I would like to know what my options are. I live in Oregon, which has several "Scenic Bikeway" routes, a few of which are over 100 miles. Currently I am more inclined to do "credit card" touring and just carry day trip supplies.
Any suggestions?
