With a Chinese kit, I turned my Easy Racer recumbent into an electric bike a couple of years ago. It was a very impressive machine until it quit suddenly one day, for no obvious reason. It was a complete, sudden and total failure.

It still has 48+ volts coming out of the battery controller, but no power any place else. No power shows in thumb throttle or the headlight/ key/ power meter/horn.

I have done what diagnostics that seem obvious to me.
The key switch is working
I checked the brake lever switches and they are ok.

suggestions please.
